BanHammer Forum BanHammer Forum was created to fill a void that most otherforums do not have. Practically the majority of forums, out there, have well moderated forums that have, for good reason, rules to discourage bad behavior that some posters are prone to, or are drawn into by other posters. We have all experienced that, “Forum battle” between two differing ideas or agendas. In some cases these disagreements spin off into a flame war. When this occurs the moderating staff, does their job and comes in to make peace among posters. Some posters feel they haven’t had enough and proceed to post things that clearly break the rules of the forum and results in admonitions, bans, topic bans or outright permanent bans. Most forums also frown upon trolling (Posting topics for the sole purpose of offending anyone to take up the battle and get into a flamefight.), baiting (Trying to draw in another poster in hopes of angering them or better yet have moderators take a look at them.), drive by’s (Those who swoop in and post one inflammatory post, and never post again in that thread) etc. BanHammer allows you to continue that discussion by moving the arguments/discussion (via a link to the discussion of the originating forum) to BanHammer without the fear of getting banned. You will see two forums that have sub-forums. Each forum mirrors each other with its sub-forums. The top forum is called “The Playground” and this is the low moderated forum that allows you to do all the things other forums will not. The lower forum, called The Classroom is a regular moderated forum that you can go to and have a regular discussion just like other forums. The Playground does have rules, but they are light rules and mostly are there for legal reasons. We hope you take this chance to relieve yourself from forum rage and get it all out at BanHammer.
