I don't care if we are a bunch of fat asses, that could be taken over by a colony of Care Bears. I want my damn toy with my Happy Meal.

Pff. The military's opinion ist overrated.

But what is a real pity is that this obesity costs lives - people who could live for eight, nine or ten decades die after five or six because of this fat.

If they cannot learn to eat less, then maybe biotechnology brings a solution any time soon?

Why is it societies obsession to force stupid/weak people to live longer or change what they like? I personally don't care if someone wants to shave off years of their lives so they can continue down their path of destruction. On a social scale is it really worth it to keep people like this around for prolonged periods of time?

It's not. They just want to live longer.

Well then surely people need to make a choice! If you want a long life, make sure your lifestyle is conducive to that! If you choose to live off McDonalds and beer, don't make many plans for your 70th birthday!

I sustain myself on salad, wild rice, chicken breast and water mostly. And I still don't want to make 70th birthdays plans.

though I do admit to a cookie love affair at times
